I agree with dad about the stride (thankfully!). While we both mosey around in the morning before we get on our way, once we are on the bikes and about 5 miles in, the soreness fades and it's pretty fun. I actually decided today at about the 5 mile marker that cycling seems like a pretty fun sport/activity/hobby. On the early trail this morning we were chugging along and I thought, I may be a "fair elevation" cyclist (because weather is alright either way) when this is all done. 

With the above being said, the hills today in PA were actually pretty fun! They were longer than up in the northeast so you had some momentum, some ebb and flow, with only a bit of pain for the top bit! 

Also, what ups your biking confidence like passing a horse and buggy on the road.

Day 11 and we are both now in full stride on the bike.  Getting 50 miles or so in is still a great workout, but it's also no a pretty "easy" thing to get through. Still... trails, good roads, and decent weather make a huge difference, all things we didn't have that first week out. 

Glad we've moved off the maps and on to Google maps to route through that last few days.

Going to enjoy a day off Monday to get some work done, rest the legs and get some clean clothes going again.  Back at it Tuesday - Thursday this week with a day off in Washington DC on Friday.

US route 30 today for about 25 miles. Should go straight on home to Lee Center from here.

Morning break at McD and half done. I've successfully got Creean on the McD train for breakfast!
